    Hi Doug, I planted several glad bulbs in containers in June and they have come up really well. However, there are jsut leaves, no flowers or even buds. Last season, my cannas didn't flower either. What could be the problem? Thank you!

    Hi Doug, Last year I posted about two baby Hydrangeas and you suggested that they came up from the roots of the parent that was moved from an original location. Well, the plants have grown but not flowered/set buds yet. (I thought they might next year?) Also, the foliage looks a lot thinner than a regular hydrangea. Would these be true to parent? What

  • Curry tree

    Hi Doug, I have a curry -leaf tree (Murraya koenigii) from the past 4 years. It is about 5 ft. tall and is in a large container. I have used the leaves regularly for cooking. Usually I bring it outdoors after Memorial Day. Last week, I repotted it with Miracle-Gro Potting mix and it is now losing its leaves. There was new growth on it earlier though

    Doug, When is a good time to move hostas? They have just started popping up and would like to move before they get bigger. or, should I wait until Fall? Thanks.
