Help! My pear tree has fire blight. I tried pruning out infected branches in the spring but now it's worse than it was before. I think it might die! What do you recommend? If it dies and I need to replace it, do yo recommend any varieties of pears that are more resistent? This is a pear-producing tree, I don't want an ornamental pear. Please
