Sharon Eberson came to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette from the NYC hockey magazine scene in 1980, at age 22, and has tried her hand at just about every possible job in the content side of things. She was a copy editor, page designer, in charge of East zone sports, covered the Pittsburgh Spirit and dabbled in a little bit of everything else during 13 years in sports, then, 1992, joined the features department as assistant Sunday Magazine editor. Since then, she has been Sunday Magazine editor, Arts & Entertainment editor and now, Online Features Editor.
Sharon's family comes first, and luckily, they indulge her love of theater, movies, science fiction and most anything that can be labeled pop culture. The Post-Gazette indulges her passion for pop culture with her PG blog, POPi: Eye on Pop Culture, at post-gazette.com/blogs/popi.
