My Bio

I am a native of Louisville, Ky., and first came to Pittsburgh in 1974. I moved to Homewood in 1984 and married the former Janet Jackson, of Homewood, in 1986.

When not working on "My Homewood" or writing about energy or tech for the Business section of the PG, I write screenplays.

My computer monitor at work has a fortune from a fortune cookie attached: "I am always doing that which I cannot do in order that I may learn to do it."

The Lord has call home the Angel of Homewood. It is so amazing the number of lifes Mrs. Raiford has touched. 1300 people attended her and Kenny Ray's homegoing is awesome. We need to take Mrs. Raiford leadership and strength she had in the Homewood community and put it back to work. Mrs. Raiford present in all 1300 of peoples made an impact on their lives. Let's take what she gave us and make a impact back in Homewood. Let's horner Mrs. Raiford life by doing as she did, helping each other to be the best that we can. Let her work live on in us.
