Mammograms: Hold off until age 50?

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force has concluded that routine mammograms should be given to women starting at age 50, saying that the harm outweighs the benefits when the tests are given to women in their 40s. How do you feel about that?

Limiting screening for a deadly illness cannot be a good idea. What were these people thinking, and why?

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is a government-run-tax-payer-funded organization that has made this claim.

No question that this is an attempt by the Obama Administration to try to ration health care.

DO NOT -- I REPEAT -- DO NOT ALLOW THE GOVERMENT TO TAKE OVER HEALTH CARE.  ELSE, THERE WILL BE A WHOLE LOT MORE OF THIS KIND OF CRAP, MEANT TO LIMIT HEALTH CARE COSTS.

The beginning of Obama health care where the government makes your health decisions. The reason for recommending less testing is less cost. I don't beleive the American Cancer Society agrees with these bureaucrats.
