But before we get to that, I'll say that your sense of humor and your ability to exchange barbs is under-developed, which leads me to now believe you're even younger than I first thought. So with that mental note, I'll proceed more cautiously.

And this is how you responded: with a Joe Starkey piece, which faulted the play-calling choices in one game... from two seasons ago. Wow. You think you have a point? And I even predicted you'd try something like this. I specifically pointed out that I'm not saying Arians is perfect and cannot err. But you have no concept of context or sense of perspective, with regard to my posts. I have been consistently -and most obviously- talking about the 'here and now.' You think because you went back in time and found an golden oldie from a single game, two season ago, that you got me? By your logic, people are now also out for Mike Tomlin's hide. Heck, Joe Starkey criticized him too, in that very same article. But since that time, both Tomlin and Arians have won a Super Bowl. Both of them, criticized in your Starkey piece, have significantly evolved. And they'll continue evolving. Meanwhile, back here in the 2009 season present, you have still failed to provide one example of a professional writer, reporter, "calling for Arians ouster, or even seriously criticizing him." Take note of the verb tense, son. I've been consistent the whole time. You've been all over the place. You dig back far enough, you can find a golden oldie about anyone. It's possible even Jesus of Nazareth had bad breath once.

Face it: Arians is doing a very good job with a very bad offensive line. And nobody, who is anybody, is calling for his ouster, or "heaping justifiable ridicule on him."

Having said that, I myself don't NEED a sportswriter or a fat broadcaster like Fat John Madden to explain things to me or tell me things.  I have 2 eyes and a brain and I can see for myself the history of Bruce Arians -- including his pathetic days as a college coach -- and I can evaluate a guy who has been a FAILURE at every coaching job he's had beyond the graduate assistant level.    Every one. 

Fact is, Arians was FIRED in Cleveland for doing a HORRENDOUS job.   Ask a Browns fan about Bruce "The Airhead" Arians, and you'll get an earful.   Of course, you're such a fuking know-it-all they you'll ignore what fans in other cities say. 

Fact is, the Steelers won the Super Bowl IN SPITE of Bruce Arians, not because of him.   It was the "Ben juke and jive show", just like last Thurs. nite.   Our offense has constantly done better when Arians isn't involved.

I can think of another one that once got fired from there, after having several losing seasons. His name is Bill Belicheck.

But I will point out Bruce Arians' coaching history, since you seem convinced he's a combination of Don Coryell, Vince Lombardi, and Tom Landry.

Total at Temple   17 (seventeen) and 49 (forty nine)   

* the 1986 team was 6-5 on the field, but had to forfeit their wins due to the presence of an ineligible player on their roster.   So not only was he a totally incompetent head coach, but he was also a fuking CHEATER. 

He also held was the Off Coord. with Mississippi State (1993-95) and Alabama (1997).   Who the hell is an Off. Coord. at a place like 'Bama for only ONE year, unless it's for a huge promotion to an NFL head coaching job???   Bruce Arians, that's who.....and it was because he was a complete, utter bufoon and a complete incompetent.

He was the QB coach at Indy when Peyton Manning arrived.   Manning, within a year, knew more about pro football and quarterbacking that Arians, the idiot, did, so they soon dismissed the bonehead Arians.

Arians was the Off Coord in Cleveland for only TWO years.    He was such an abysmal flop that they FIRED him after the 2003 playoffs.....a game that they SHOULD have won (vs. Pgh, no less), but Arians, the idiot, kept FLINGING the ball (gee, haven't we seen that before) when he could have chewed the clock. 

Arians has no bright future.   He a complete fuking tool, and a stupid one at that.

Don't take losing too hard, you idiot.   Between you and Arians, there's a village looking for its idiot and you two will quickly be embraced.  

I now realize just how obsessed you've become with me, and/or Bruce Arians. You've spent much of the day researching him. Hey, you get a gold star to put on your forehead.
