AC/DC rocked the Mellon!! I seen them opening night in Wilkes Barre and then in Philly. This show was the best out of three. I have seen them seven times total and also met Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams. They are true gentleman and great rockers. They perform a concert and give a show at the same time. I have seen many other performers but have never seen any of them twice. I shelled out $650.00 for two tickets and drove 6 hours to the Mellon Arena show even though I had seen them twice on the Black Ice tour. So for me and my 14 year old son, AC/DC we salute you!!!!

OMG...that was one of the best concerts I've ever been to!! It was also, hands down, the loudest (my ears are still ringing)!! I've seen many concerts to compare it to, such as Kiss and Motley Crue, and I have to say, it was better than Motley Crue, almost as amazing as any Kiss concert I've seen. I loved the diversity of the crowd. Standing in line to get in I was surrounded by people who made me feel old at 31...I shouldn't feel old at an AC/DC concert. But once in there, there were people younger than me, my age, and old. It was fun, upbeat, and truely one of the best concerts I've seen.

When you register to comment on post-gazette.com, you have the option of setting a time zone. The default is Greenwich Mean Time (Dublin, London), so unless you change that, your comments are posted as 5 hours ahead of EST, where Pittsburgh is.

To change the time zone, log in and go to your profile page. Click "edit profile." On that page, click for the "Site Options" tab. On that page, the 2nd subhead down, says "Time Zone." Use the dropdown to pick the time zone you want.

The concert was fantastic. However, the Civic Arena (I refuse to it call the M word) should be ashamed of selling the tickets in the C section under the balcony overhang for full price. We couldn't see only the lower part of the video screens and hardly any of the special effects. I bought these tickets during the pre sale and these were the best they could give me. It's just another example of how Ticketmaster needs regulation.

There is no doubt what so ever that ac/dc last night was the best concert i've ever seen.I'm a big Def Leppard fan and ac/dc put them to shame.i'd definitely see them again if i ever get the oppurtunity.

JUST PICTURE THIS VAN HALEN AT HALF TIME IN TAMPA WITH THE STEELERS UP BY 21 PLAYING ROCK AND ROLL THE WAY ZEPPELIN WANTED TO PLAY IT. WHAT DO YOU THINK ZEPPELINRULES.

I SAW PAGE AND PLANT IN CHICAGO AND IT SUCKED I COULD JUST PICTURE A DEAD DRUMMER LIVENING THAT ACT UP THE ONLY THING BETTER WOULD BE TO GET DEAF LEPPARDS ONE ARM DRUMMER RICK ALLEN SINCE JASON DOESN'T WANT THE JOB. BESIDES ROBERT PLANT DOESN'T EVEN WANT TO PERFORM THAT GARBAGE ANY MORE. JUST FACE THE FACTS EDDIE IS GREAT AND WOLFGANG IS LEARNING FROM THE BEST. DON'T BE A HATER BECAUSE 16 YEAR OLD WOLFIE CAN PULL MORE TAIL THAN YOU. MAYBE YOU AND SCOTT MERVIS CAN GET TOGETHER AND WRITE A BLUES TUNE ABOUT WHY ZEPPELIN WILL NEVER TOUR AGAIN. WE ALL CAN SEE HE'S NOT A VERY GOOD WRITER AND COULD USE YOUR HELP. NOTHING WILL STOP THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIMES. EVEN EDDIE ALL WACKED OUT ON DRUGS SOUNDS BETTER THAN AC/DC OR ZEPPELIN. I totally agree with FOXYDAVE. Even the ushers after the show were saying how incredible the show was. If you were in attendance and didn't enjoy it....you have some issues to work out then.

Hahaha are you crazy? Do you understand how many people would die to see Zeppelin live again? A world tour would sell out in minutes. Yinzers would be more entertained by the Pirates than Van Halen. Without Zeppelin there wouldn't be a band like Van Halen. I bet if you ask Eddie who rocks more he would even say Zeppelin. Who in their right mind has a 10 year old as their bassist? One thing Zepplinrules needs to know is that John Bonham took the Highway to Hell and not the Stairway to Heaven. The best thing about Zepplin is that John son is smart eneough not to come to the states and play with his dad's band. Wolfgang can at least get up on stage with his dad and play unlike Jason and John. Eddie can jam any Zepplin song with his guitar behind his back with his toes, and Alex is at least able to still pick up a drum stick. As for Scott Mervis your upbringing and taste in music is at question because you think you know what your talking about. If you had half a brain and knew what good misic is the you could call your self a music critic as for now we will call you a putts. Van Halen rules. Scott you being a Steeler Fan is at question to because the stupid coment that you made about Van Halen make us believe that you must come from one of three places. (Cincinnati, Cleveland or Baltimore) Go Steelers and Go Pens.

Last night was my first big rock concert. I am 14 years old and i have listened to AC/DC all my life. When i was 11 these guys inspired me to start playing guitar. I'm still playing now and I play a lot of AC/DC's songs. So, I got three tickets for my birthday and my mom and dad took me to this concert. It was absolutley mind blowing. My dad who has seen several bands live said that it was one of the best rock concerts he's ever seen. The show was just great and they sounded awsome live. Go Steelers!

I don't know what you are talking about but Van Halen sucks. They sucked back in the 80's and suck even more now. I wish DVE would play more Chicago than hearing "Panama" one more time. Scott Mervis should keep his job because he is right. Wish I was at the show last night. Sounded like a lot of fun. Go Steelers!
