Two of those years they were the worst team in baseball tied in both occasions. They should have had a playoff for worst team. Four times during that span 10 or more teams had worse season records than the Pirates.</p> <p>The Stillers 1957 through 1970 went 70-100-9 A far worse period than the Buccos recent ineptitude. Five or Six times the worse team in football.
