&lt;p&gt;The Pirates 1995 through 2008 had a below .500 record every year. Two of those years they were the worst team in baseball tied in both occasions. They should have had a playoff for worst team. Four times during that span 10 or more teams had worse season records than the Pirates.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Stillers 1957 through 1970 went 70-100-9 A far worse period than the Buccos recent ineptitude. Five or Six times the worse team in football. Perhaps we should have had the Rooneys relinquish their franchise and have run them out of town. &lt;/p&gt;
