I turned on the TV this afternoon, and guess who was on again---our president Alabama, I mean Obama.

He has no details in his message, only the same old generalities.

Why doesn't someone gag this guy? Why don't they take him back to Illinois for a while to spend some time with his good buddies Wright, Ayres, etc. He must have the Guiness record for TV speeches.

I think the only person close to him lately, is "Fast Eddie" Rendell.

We have another "Press Conference" coming up tonight. Whoopee!

It will be interesting to watch Alabama, I mean Obama, try to explain again his Health Care Program.

We'll get about 12 or 13 questions, from selected favorite reporters. The answers will be extended. There will be no hardball questions or good follow-up questions asking for clarification of the answers. The White House reporters are trained pretty good not to make waves. They're a sorry lot.

I would ask why are only Democrats involved in the meetings and why are there "closed" meetings? Where is the transparancy?

This has to be the worst Congress in years, and anybody that doesn't think so is in a fog.

How many promises has Obama already broken since his installation?

Our country and its president really took a strong stance on the launch of that missle. Let NATO handle it. I haven't heard anything from our president since. I guess there is no teleprompter for him to read off of to relate our plans, if we have any. Maybe just talking to them will solve the problem. (Similar to the cozy letter he wrote to Iran.) What a Wimp. Maybe if he goes over and bows to Kim things will get better.

Are you as tired of this blow hard as I am? To think this obnoxious bore makes 100s of millions of dollars to pollute the air wave with his oxicodone induced toxic BS! If it were up to me, Rush would be waiting for his first nickel! All he does is rant his ultra right politics and bash every democrat that he can. Don't get me wrong I am an independent and do not feel an allegience to either party but his biased is boring! His latest wish list of ..."hoping President Obama fails...' is a new low even for good old Rush. He was on CNBC this AM explaining his statements BUT if you ask me...it smacks of unpatriotism and is indefensible! Could you imagine the crucifixion party he would lead if some one else made a comment like this? With the economic crisis gripping this economy, it would save broadcasting a quarter billion dollars by dumping this insufferable bore that I know if he tried to spout his garbage in any bar in Pgh would get his behind a long over due kicking. I wonder what network execs were thinking when they gave this junkie the kinda money he earns. I say let's put an end to it..let's boycott this idiot. I'd be willing to bet this guy's IQ is little better than average if that. I believe he proves it every time a caller of any substance makes a point Rush pulls the plug. Instead he chooses to bully up on the poor slob that cannot defend himself and does what he does best rants about the Rush proclaimed idiot for the balance of his program. I say enough! Let's make an example of this bum...demand he be taken off the air because he is like pornography providing no social merit! If you agree with me We can start today...call the station,demand he be taken off the air... boycott his program, and in the interim you mensa types call his program and expose him for what he truly is..a typical blow hard bullie with little if any talent. Another exciting press conference. No teleprompter, just a large screen TV in the back of the room to read off of. What's with this guy?

I noticed during his campaign that he had a selected group of reporters that he called on. He's continued that practice. With past presidents. a reporter would raise his hand and take his chances of getting called on. Apparently no more. You better get on his list.

No magazines such as Time, Newsweek, etc. or The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, etc. were called on. I know you can't call on everybody, but I think the system stinks. His favorites, ABC, CBS, NBC,etc. were all called on. Of course, they took care of him while he was running.

This man is something else!

An even bigger joke is his press secretary, Gibbs. Did you see him on Friday? I don't know why some of these reporters just don't make his head spin off. They're just playing with him now. He is a sight to behold and listen to.

One of the issues in the stimulus bill is the study of Swine Odors. I'm in the process of tallying up how many jobs this is going to provide. I don't know where to start.

There is a backside to this story, however. When they start the full study, they'll have to make sure that Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Durbin, Dodd, Schumer, Obey, et. al. are not too close to the lab. It will surely make for confusion.

Word has it that Nancy (I'm the first female Speaker! Tee Hee Hee.), jumped up and down 482 times during Alabama's, I mean Obama's oratory last night. This was enough to almost destroy the chair. Aides said she was still jumping 15 minutes after the speech ended.

Joe (shut my mouth) Biden, however, quit applauding within 4 minutes of the end of the speech.

Since Alabama, I mean Obama has taken office, he has given at least one or two or more speeches a day. Some of them on the spur of the moment, while just walking around. He's given them to the homeless and also to the non-taxpayers. (Mostly his cabinet.)

Unofficial count has it that he's given 720 speeches to date. Joe (shut my mouth) Biden has been to 750 of them. The reason for the discrepancy is it is thought that Biden left a few and then came back. 10 or 20 minutes later he realized the pres had finished up and was no longer speaking. He just stood there applauding like he usually does, so they're giving Biden extra credit for these speeches.

In his speeches, Alabama, I mean Obama has used the word "crisis" 5280 times. He is going into the Guiness Book of World Records because no one ever had a mile's worth of crises. He is expected to reach his 2nd mile by the end of the month. Word has It he is trying to get enough crIses to get to the moon and back.

Note: These are unproven figures and may be higher.

Alabama, I mean Obama wanted the stimulus bill by Presidents Day. Why?

He's in Chicago smoozing with his honey, and won't sign it until today.

He's been in office 4 weeks and all he has to show for it is about 92 speeches!

Also, have you noticed how the politics of Chicago have infiltrated Washington, D.C.? Non-taxpaying bozos, perjury, lying, appointed "friends," etc. We're in for a good 4 years.

Now, I understand Nancy (I'm the first female speaker, Tee Hee Hee) is in Rome. I would hope she took Harry( The war's lost,) Reid, and Barny Google, I mean Frank, and I hope they fall in a fountain. Hence the title of this missive.

Watching some of our more astute politicians speaking about the Stimulus Bill last night, makes one wonder. No one saw a problem that none of them had a chance to read it. How many other bills get passed with these people having no idea what they're passing? No wonder the country's in trouble!

Their false sincerity makes one want to puke. Most of them probably had to change their pants a few times because they were so happy this bill passed. With no Republicans in the House voting on it, Pelosi and Reid and their ilk were proclaiming how bi-partisan this bill was. Give them some more Kool Aid!

Keep electing these fools, and in a few more years we'll be in deeper dirt. They're like the gang that couldn't shoot straight. When you see one, you see the rest. Pelosi, Reid, Google, I mean Frank, Durbin, Schumer, & Obey, each one pushing to get to the microphone to say something significant, yet saying the same old thing that the person before said. How lucky we are to have these people speaking for us in our country!

How is it that a few million people, many, if not the majority of them African-American, were able to get to Washington D.C. on Jan. 20th for the Coronation with not more than a day's notice, yet with 5 or 6 days notice, they were not able to get out of New Orleans when warned about Hurricane Katrina?

I had a letter published Jan. 21. about the emotion I had when I again placed my flag in my yard after the Obama innaguration. The letter was three sentances long. You ( the Post Gazette) published a letter by J Sweitzer telling me that I did not think things out when I removed my flag from my yard after we invaded Iraq. You allowed J.Sweitzer to address things I did not write about. He accused me of not thinking about the fallen men and women of the war. The truth is that is the reason I took my flag down. It was in protest of the the unnecessary deaths this unnecessary war would allow. J.Sweitzer accused me of now knowing anyone deployed to Iraq. In truth I attended the funeral of a 21 year old who was the nephew of our good friends. In truth my brother-in law's grandsom was deployed to Iraq twice. In truth one of my sons graduated from the Naval Academy and served under the flag. In truth J. Sweitzer accused me of not thinking of the fallen and the truth is that I know the name of everyone of the fallen because I obtain the list from the internet because I say a prayer for each and every one of the fallen. J. Sweitzer accused me of having neighbors who would be agast that I removed my flag. The truth is that my neighbor removed his flag the same day that I did in protest of the unneccessary war. The only difference is that he replaced his flag in his yard the day after the election and I replaced mine after the innaguration. It broke my heart to take down my flag. That flag belonged to my father - he fought in world war 11. It is faded and old. So now you know why it was so emotional to be able to again fly my flag. Please consider that when you publish a letter in response to a former letter that you may want to be sure that that response is about the contents of the former letter and not based on assumptions.

after reading the january 25, 2009, Issue One section,The Inauguration,letter entittled Clasles Crowd by Kurt Torpey,I feel compelled to respond.Quite the contrary,Bush was well deserving of tjis type of treatment.In fact,in light of Bush's total disdain for our Country,its people,the Con-stitution and not to mention the loss of lives (our military and all innocents),he was even more deserving of a fwe well aimed shoes and maybe even a few rotten tomatoes! May we never have to endure his disrespectful smirks,poor attempts at comedy and his never ending slaughter of the English language again. And lastly,no shame to the taunters,SHAME ON BUSH !!!!

Remember 4 years ago. Left Wingers (who else?) were questioning the 2 or 3 million dollar expense of throwing an inaugural bash for Bush's 2nd term. They thought it was a mortal sin for such an expense since the country was at war. There's probably still a few empty heads out there who will agree with that premise. Most of these people were simple-minded and couldn't find Washington on a map, so it's understandable the way they think.

However, I haven't heard anyone, Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, complain or say one word about the $170 million cost of Obama's Inaugural bash. I don't know who pays for these things, but I think that Tuesday's goings-on could have been cut back a little, to bring the cost down to a reasonable $165 million or so, don'tcha think.
