How far will Panthers advance?

Wednesday night's 90-75 win over Marquette all but assures the Panthers a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history [ read PG game story ]. How do you see the Big East and NCAA tournaments playing out for Pitt?

The panthers will advance as far as the officials allow them too. The two big guys Blair and Young need to stay out of foul trouble.. Hopefully the Calhoun curse doesn't affect us going forward.

The Panthers will advance to the 3rd round.

 PAnthers will win the Big East with no problem.  The Panthers will also go to the Final 4 outlasting UCONN.  They have the big guns is Fields, Blair, Biggs and the rest of Panthers team.  Jaime will keep them together, no worries!  Bring on the Bracket Pools!

Let's hope for the sake of our chances in the tournament, despite an almost-locked-down 1 seed, that the team doesn't expend all its energies winning the brutal Big East Tournament.  While the 2 wins there have been fun over the years, there's a legitimate argument that previous teams didn't have enough left during the tournament after, losing to lesser teams. 

If the Panthers don't spend all their emotional and physical energies before the big dance, it's easy to see them in the Final Four and winning the national championship.

 lets not run before we crawl! We just got beat twice when we were number 1 in the country because we could't handle the pressure.  These guys could make the 16 or the 8 but need alot of luck and for someone to play over their head to advance into the final four and a shot at the title. Remember there are alot of very good teams out there with alot of upsets coming in the tourny!!!!!

 Lets hope they can sustain the pressure and shoot well when we need it most!!!!! We need alot of luck to make the 4!!!!

 Lets first get a decent seeding with some room to breath!! Then we need someone (Gilbert Brown possibly to step up and play great- Also we need Blair to stay out of foul trouble and we also need a little luck to get past a team that will play better than us!!! To get to the Final four you need alot of things to fall right-----------
