Chargers vs. Steelers Diviison Playoff game!

HUGE Chargers fan considering making my way out to PA from SD, CA for the game. Don't like the match-up and the fact that LT won't play, or if he does, his effectiveness will be limited by the injury not to mention your filthy defense.

I'm optimistic in the fact that Darren Sproles is someone to be reckoned with and he could present your D with some challenges. He's strong, fast, deceptive and hard to tackle.

I'm also optimistic because we only lost to the Steelers by 1 point, 11-10 about seven weeks ago. We were not a very good team then and held your team without a TD. Sure, the Steelers outgained us nearly 2-to-1, however, points are all that matters in this tough, unforgiving league.

Yards and points will be tough to come by against the Steeler D, however, I'm confident if we keep it close going in to the 4th, we'll have a good shot.

Charger haters can say you're a 8-8, weak playoff team, but, we just sent a Pro Bowl QB (Crybaby Cutler) and his team home and then followed that up last weekend by eliminating the MVP and the red-hot winners of NINE in a row Colts home as well.

Looking for honest, unbiased feedback on how Steeler fans HONESTLY feel heading in to Sunday's game.

Pointspread is currently Pitt  -6 but look for that to drop to 4.5, maybe 5 come kickoff (just like it did last time).

Best of luck Steeler fans, and may the better team win Sunday.

    FrighteningLighteningBolts:

You seem like you have a good spirit so I'll try to be cool.

On Daren Sproles, he is like every other back that face the Steelers: The Steelers don't like to give up 100 yards to any rusher. I think he may worry himself since they historically don't do it that often. I am glad he had a good game last week, there is plenty on film.

As for the last game and the touchdowns: The refs awarded 13 penalties to the Steelers, and the Colts had two penalties. I seem to remember the only people to stop Nate Washington was the refs. I hope you don't include referee help.

As for the Chargers being 8-8, who cares about the record. I just don't think the Chargers match up that well.

Statistically, it was one of Ben Rothlisberger's better games, he threw for 300 yards.

And I think Mewelde Moore or/ Willie Parker ran for 100 yards.

In your exuberance and hope for your team, you forgot to mention that.

Remember, if you come to the game-bring a coat, the thicker the better.
