I've seen a number of classic rock acts multiple times. This was my first live look at AC/DC and they didn't disappoint. They turned in an electrifying, albeit eardrum shattering, performance. I can't wait for a new arena with better acoustics.

AC/DC did break the cardinal rule of rock that major headlining acts should turn in a two-hour performance. But at 1:45, I still felt I got my money's worth with this outing. Guess we'll have to wait for the next tour when they are not promoting an album to hear other classics like Who Made Who, The Girl's Got Rhythm, Have a Drink on Me, and Money Talks.

Pop music critic Scott Mervis should be fired for his job.  He has no idea what good music is.   He must be that kid growing up that got abused by everyone. You know the guy I'm talking about.  If the post gazette wants to print something please make sure it's from a credable writer.  Van Halen is still one of the greatest bands of all time.  Eddie is and will always be the greatest guitar player of all times.   Scott Mervis is a putts.  He must be a Ravens fan to.  Go Steelers.

I am very selective about the concerts that I attend, so I have only seen around 20 concerts by the top artists.  However, the AC/DC concert last night was, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest concert that I have ever seen.  Not only are they world class musicians (with apologies to all of the music snobs who think that world class musicians have to play classical music while wearing formal attire), but Angus Young is a world class athlete!  I am 47 years old and last night was the first time in my life that I honestly felt that I was in the coolest spot on the face of the earth!  While it would have been great if they had played longer or replaced 1 or 2 of their new or lesser known songs with Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution or Who Made Who or It's a Long Way to the Top if You're Gonna Rock and Roll, it's amazing how many hits they have had when you consider that most bands never have any hits or are lucky to be "one hit wonders".  If you were at the show, you have to admit that they left everything that they had on the stage and gave everyone their money's worth!

I don't know what you are talking about but Van Halen sucks.  They sucked back in the 80's and suck even more now.  I wish DVE would play more Chicago than hearing "Panama" one more time.  Scott Mervis should keep his job because he is right.  Wish I was at the show last night.  Sounded like a lot of fun.  Go Steelers!

Last night was my first big rock concert. I am 14 years old and i have listened to AC/DC all my life. When i was 11 these guys inspired me to start playing guitar. I'm still playing now and I play a lot of AC/DC's songs. So, I got three tickets for my birthday and my mom and dad took me to this concert. It was absolutley mind blowing. My dad who has seen several bands live said that it was one of the best rock concerts he's ever seen. The show was just  great and they sounded awsome live. Go Steelers!

Say what you want about my music tastes or my upbringing, but I can't let that Ravens comment pass. Steelers fan for life!

One thing Zepplinrules needs to know is that John Bonham took the Highway to Hell and not the Stairway to Heaven.  The best thing about Zepplin is that John son is smart eneough not to come to the states and play with his dad's band. Wolfgang can at least get up on stage with his dad and play unlike Jason and John.  Eddie can jam any Zepplin song with his guitar behind his back with his toes, and Alex is at least able to still pick up a drum stick.  As for Scott Mervis your upbringing and taste in music is at question because you think you know what your talking about. If you had half a brain and knew what good misic is the you could call your self a music critic as for now we will call you a putts.  Van Halen rules.  Scott you being a Steeler Fan is at question to because the stupid coment that you made about Van Halen make us believe that you must come from one of three places.  (Cincinnati, Cleveland or Baltimore)   Go Steelers and Go Pens.

Hahaha are you crazy?  Do you understand how many people would die to see Zeppelin live again?  A world tour would sell out in minutes.  Yinzers would be more entertained by the Pirates than Van Halen.  Without Zeppelin there wouldn't be a band like Van Halen.  I bet if you ask Eddie who rocks more he would even say Zeppelin.  Who in their right mind has a 10 year old as their bassist?  Scott Mervis you rock and keep it real.  Haha Van Halen.  Brett Michaels w/ out Poison had more people at his show

I totally agree with FOXYDAVE. Even the ushers after the show were saying how incredible the show was. If you were in attendance and didn't enjoy it....you have some issues to work out then.

    An all-around Great night!

I SAW PAGE AND PLANT IN CHICAGO AND IT SUCKED I COULD JUST PICTURE A DEAD DRUMMER LIVENING THAT ACT UP THE ONLY THING BETTER WOULD BE TO GET DEAF LEPPARDS ONE ARM DRUMMER RICK ALLEN SINCE JASON DOESN'T WANT THE JOB.  BESIDES ROBERT PLANT DOESN'T EVEN WANT TO PERFORM THAT GARBAGE ANY MORE.  JUST FACE THE FACTS EDDIE IS GREAT AND WOLFGANG IS LEARNING FROM THE BEST.  DON'T BE A HATER BECAUSE 16 YEAR OLD WOLFIE CAN PULL MORE TAIL THAN YOU.  MAYBE YOU AND SCOTT MERVIS CAN GET TOGETHER AND WRITE A BLUES TUNE ABOUT WHY ZEPPELIN WILL NEVER TOUR AGAIN.  WE ALL CAN SEE HE'S NOT A VERY GOOD WRITER AND COULD USE YOUR HELP.  NOTHING WILL STOP THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIMES.  EVEN EDDIE ALL WACKED OUT ON DRUGS SOUNDS BETTER THAN AC/DC OR ZEPPELIN.  EDDIE HAS MORE TALENT IN HIS PINKY FINGER THAN ALL OF ZEPPELIN AND AC/DC COMBINED.  GO STEELERS.
