slampton: I dissagree. On the first touchdown P Manning threw, Ike Taylor had the ball in both hands; on the second TD, Troy Palamulu drop an interception with a clear path to the endzone. In interviews after the game, Manning felt his offense and his play was getting better.
The Steelers offense, particularly the QB did not play well, and the Colts barely won.
I suspect the Steelers will play better. Do you think the Colts are a lock? If so, you must be kidding me. If you like Manning, love Manning-just say it. The Media is in business with the NFL, marketing is essential, and the league has to promote somebody, and most of the time its the QB.
Manning and Colts get all questionable calls, and the league went to far to help Manning.
Case in point: During the year the Colts won the Super Bowl, the Colts did not play a game outside of the RCA Dome or cold weather city in December. The league didn't want to see a Manning break down like we saw him do in against cheatin' New England in the snow.
Overall, the Colts were fortunate to get the win, they got it due to poor QB play. Be glad, but don't count on it should there be a next time.
