=v= In today's Post-Gazette: LRAD lets police have loudest word. Does anyone else find it ironic that the police are touting this weapon as a communications device?
Supposedly the purpose of having this sound cannon at the G20 was to communicate orders to disperse, but folks on the street report that it was instead used to inflict pain. Meanwhile, police arrested a guy for using Twitter to communicate the same order to disperse. Again, notice anything ironic about all this?
