Dejuan Blair

 I wish dejuan the best, but I feel he needed at least 1 more year to develop a 15 foot jumper. he came along way in 1 year, 1 more year would have been perfect to develop the restt of his game. While his body is mature, he made alot of dumb fouls and take hin 10 feet from the basket, he is no threat.

irishover: You have some underlying hate. What do you know? There are players in the NBA that come out of high school with elements of their game that need to improve. And it happens in other sports too. Sorry, I know you hate to see Dejuan Blair make more money than you.

As much as I'd like to see Blair stay at Pitt because I'm a huge Panthers fan, it's cool to see a true local kid go to the NBA. It's hard to fault anyone for making the leap to the pros. I would do the same thing. There's just too much on the line in terms of finances. I'm sure Blair will be able to take care of his family and himself now. Staying at Pitt another year is just risking an injury that could jeopardize his professional career. Did you see that game in the tourney when the guy fell into his knee? Blair took a shoulder check right on the knee. That could have very easily ended with a catastrophic knee injury that would have ended his playing career.
