Big punishment

Wilson has been a power in South Carolina football for quite awhile, winning last year's state championship in the 3A Class down there.

Well, they won't get a chance to defend that title this year. The sqaud was involved in a fight a few weeks ago, and the South Carolina High School League acted swiftly and sternly in handing down their punishment.

* This is just a brief observation from a photo we ran a few weeks ago. Has there ever, ever been a more intimidating-looking player in the WPIAL than Steel Valley lineman Tyrone Ezell. I am 31 years old, and I am deathly afraid of this kid.

Yeah - there has been another very intimidating player in W. Pa. but he did not play in the WPIAL. He played in the Pittsburgh City League...and for the Pitt Panthers in basketball and football.  Anyone remember the great Clyde Vaughn???
