PA Football News Preseason Rankings released

The guys at Pennsylvania Football News, Tom Elling and Rich Vetock, do a wonderful job of covering the sport on a statewide basis. Along with us here at the Post-Gazette, they are one of the few outlets in the state that provide statewide rankings each week.

Well, their preseason rankings were unveiled today, and here they are:

Class AAAA:

Well, for AA there's a glaring omission, and not necessarily from the top 10 but they don't even list Ford City (their #10 team at the end of 2007 who returns practically everyone from a 10-1 squad) in their "Others to Watch". Like they need more chips on their shoulders up there to keep on grinding out the wins.

One team listed in their AA "Others to Watch" will be playing in AAA this year, the Fighting Planets of Mars. I know it's much of a guessing game at this point but someone needs to check the facts before publishing.

Where is Wilmington and Karns City in AA.  These two teams also have most everybody coming back.
