I remember the same response when I recommended Malcolm in the Middle about a decade ago, and believe it never received the acclaim it deserved even though it won a few Peabodies.

"With apologies to 'Seinfeld,' 'Christine' is not must-see TV comedy but whenever I do tune in, I generally find myself amused by the series."

I'm now told they decided to reorganize things yesterday and my stuff is now under "Video Channel" and instead of being listed by my name, it's now listed as Tuned In +. Your concerns have been passed along to the powers that be.

re: Definition: Showrunner; free day on PG+

Rob, I went over to PG+ to check out your vodcast as you suggested. Under the "Life" drop-down I could see no link relating to you or your contributions. The only headers are Doug Oster, Watercooler, That's Fascinating, We Are Pittsburgh, Bob Hoover, and The Game Guy. I checked them all, but found nothing done by you.

I ran a search for Rob Owen (and "Rob Owen") and got hits for Rob Rogers, Rob's Rough, Rob Scuderi and multiple hits with variations of the word pROBably or pROBlem. Not a single hit for you.

Ran a search for Owen and got a few hits for you under "Category: The Feed/Short Items" (plus hits for people named Rowen, Bowen, Owens & Tom McEowen). Went to a couple links with your name and clicked on your name on the resulting page figuring I'd find a listing of your contributions. All I got was an error page with a paragraph of computer programming gobbledygook.

If this is all the better they can do, count me out on becoming a PG+ subscriber. The PG+ free day showed me lots of what's wrong and little of anything that's right with it. The PG+ is VERY user unfriendly.
