A
two-part sequel to the fantastic "Masterpiece: Classic" drama "Cranford" will
air in January. A four-hour adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma," starring Jonny
Lee Miller ("Eli Stone"), will also air in 2010.
This
fall, "Masterpiece: Contemporary," now hosted by David Tennant ("Dr. Who"),
will debut "Endgame" starring Miller as a mediator who brought together two
bitterly antagonistic factions in a 1980s South Africa divided by apartheid.
On "Great Performances," Tennant will reprise
his role as Hamlet for a Royal Shakespeare Company production that will air in
2010.
