Last night Fox premiered "Sit Down, Shut Up," a new animated comedy from Mitch Hurwitz, the creator of "Arrested Development." (Every other TV critic seemed to hate it, but I got a kick out of the show.)
During a recent teleconference for "Sit Down," Hurwitz spoke a little about the "AD" movie that's in development.
"We have a lot of little pieces," he said. "I writing it with Jim Vallely, and we have all these little ideas. But with the show it's always been about tying all the pieces together. None of them quite make a movie yet. We're still assembling the pieces."

NBC launches a new round of "Heroes" webisodes today at NBC.com featuring Puppet Master Doyle (David H. Lawrence XVII). I tell you this as a point of information, not because I'm excited about it.
I've pretty much given up on "Heroes." Recent episodes, like last week's explainer-of-backstory-hour, have shown some improvement, but I feel like I'm too far gone at this point to get back into the show. I'll keep watching through the end of the season but I may not be back next year. Anyone else feel this way? Can anyone provide reasons why I should be excited for this series?
