Tuned In Journal is written by Rob Owen, who has been TV Editor at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since June 1998. In his blog, Owen posts reviews, commentary and TV news on a regular basis. In January and July he files dispatches several times a day from the Television Critics Association press tours in Los Angeles.
Owen previously worked as a TV/radio writer at the Albany, NY, Times Union and as a features writer at the Richmond Times-Dispatch in Richmond, Va., where he helped create a section for teen readers. He wrote the book "Gen X TV: The Brady Bunch to Melrose Place," which was published in hardcover by Syracuse University Press in February 1997. The paperback edition was published in March 1999.
Owen is a past president of the Television Critics Association. He is a 1993 graduate of Syracuse University.
