Can't wait to get my hands on the Crunchpad

Imagine for a moment that you had a slim touchscreen web surfing device that would let you check email anywhere with a wifi connection.  And then imagine that it's cheap to build and simple to use.

Would it look anything like this?

Mine would.  This thing looks sweet.  We reported on this previously but since then, the prototype has blossomed.  Based on the same Intel Atom architecture as most netbooks and running a custom Linux kernel, it's the brainchild of the folks over at TechCrunch.  Early projections are that the unit will run about $300.

I'm imagining having one of these wall-mounted in my kitchen.
