Do you have what it takes?
Have you ever looked at the editorial cartoon in the newspaper and thought, "I could do better than that?"
Or have you ever thought of a cartoon idea and just never had any place to go with it? Or do you lock yourself in the bathroom and draw cartoons when no one else is looking?
If any of these sound like you, you might be an armchair cartoonist!
Now there's a place where you can truly express yourself. Impress your friends and family by having your cartoons included in this blog. Finalists and winners will be posted once or twice a month depending on the number of entries we receive.
There will be two divisions, a kids contest (14 and under), and one for adults (15 and over). Follow the rules below, and you could be on your way to cartoon fame and glory (good luck with that). Stay tuned to hear about future contests with specific themes!

Armchair Cartoonist Contest No. 3 --- Contest winners will be posted ASAP
Armchair Cartoonist Contest No. 4 --- Deadline: February 15th
The theme for this contest is holiday metaphors. You can draw a political cartoon about any topic (economy, war, etc.) as long as you use a holiday metaphor. It can be Halloween, Thanksgiving, Chrismas, etc. Good luck!
