If it makes you feel any better, it was hardly a ringing endorsement. And Luke's staff got more clear praise from the editorial board than Luke did.
He can't be happy about that.

Sorry to disagree, but I think that Lil mayor Luke is very happy right now.
Remember that this is a guy who took a P-G endorsement for Patrick Dowd in the primary and made it into an endorsement for himself:

Let me clarify.
When I wrote that Luke "can't be happy about that" what I MEANT was that he "can't be happy about the fact that his chief of staff got better press then he did although (let's be honest here) he'll probably just take all the credit for himself anyway like he did in that incident that my co-blogger Maria wrote about recently."
