UPDATE 3:20 p.m.: Ryan Doumit is out of the lineup, but it is not yet known if that is injury-related. He came out of the game late yesterday, but so did three other regulars because of the lopsided score. ... The promise to keep Craig Monroe is active, with his batting cleanup against the left-hander Miller.
3:41 p.m.: Doumit's right wrist is injured, and he is having an MRI this afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital. He hurt it in the game yesterday on a swing in his second at-bat. X-rays did not show a fracture. Manager John Russell said Doumit came to PNC today complaining of soreness, adding that Doumit described the injury to him as "more like a pull than a pop." Doumit has no history of wrist trouble. More word is expected later today.
7:05 p.m.: Game will be delayed by only about 10 minutes. Still nothing new on Doumit. And, man alive, there might not be 200 people in the seats for the first pitch.
