Real Estate Watch

RealSTATs reported only one real estate transaction last week, and it was the largest that I recall hearing or reading about in Homewood in years. It was listed this way:

Mark Sindler, et al. to Tolliver Thompson Group LLC, 7817-7823 Madiera St., and 425-447 Rosedale, $358,000

I'm sharing more detail than usual to have you note that the sale 1) involves two sets of addresses, 2) is for a whopping price for Homewood, and 3) was made to an LLC, which, as it turns out, is located in Bowie, Md., a little town in Prince George's County.

Some of you probably know this property; it's a complex with about 15 units that sits at the intersection of Madiera and Rosedale. Dianne Swan, executive director of Rosedale Block Cluster, Inc., referred to it as "the bungalows," and said that there is some history there, because they were once used as housing for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

As a black woman in US today I want to talk about our children and what we as a nation and as parents are not giving our children so that they can be better than us in their furture. Our children are in the path of destruction and we as black people need to change the destruction NOW. Women stop the hostage behavior with these children father and get the men back into these babies lives. The children need their Father. So what if he has a new woman. It still takes a village to rise a child. Make the new woman a part of your childs life or at least respect your child eough to try. Our children needs both parent to be rounded and grounded. So what it didn't work out for the two of you. Should that mean your children suffer. And Stop talking bad about the childs father aroung the child. If daddy anit no *&%$ good you are telling your child he or she anit no *&&^^ good. We have lost soooo many of our Ernest and young Germany. Please let's go back to the old school and put our babies first. I won't be sorry at the end. You care eough for that man to lay down with him, care eough for your child to make him apart of their lives. Mr. Price more than likely never had that benfit.

Mr. Price took the life of Mr. Tolliver at KFC in the present of his mother. I want to know if Mother Price notice a DIFFERENCE in her son after he kill this child or was there no change in Mr.Price's behavior. If she notice no change in his make up she didn't put anything in the gift box God gave her. Brenda's gift is gone. Mr. Tolliver may not have been a saint but, he didn't deserved to die either at Mr. Price hand
