For president, the PG endorses ....

Tom Waseleski

You loyal readers of the PG's Sunday Early Edition have seen it already -- the newspaper's presidential endorsement for 2008. Those of you who read us online will see it posted on our web site after midnight tonight. All other customers, well, you'll have to wait for your Sunday paper.

The editorial board endorsed in the season's marquee race a little early this year, by two weeks, for a couple of reasons. We are convinced about whom we want to win this pivotal election and we want to get our view before as many undecided voters as possible. That's why Sunday's paper carries our endorsement for .... well, you'll have to check it out.

You may agree or disagree. Either way, we want to know whom you want to see elected -- John McCain or Barack Obama. Go to our Picking Sides forum and you can weigh in with 100 words on your preferred candidate. We print two each day in the paper and run the others online. Vote here before you vote on Nov. 4.
