McCain-Obama debate aftermath

Sen. John McCain was the candidate who wanted a town hall meeting as the forum for the second of three debates with Sen. Barack Obama, but after last night's performance, the question is, Why?

The Arizona Republican looked awkward and ill-at-ease, wandering around the venue, seeming unsure of whether he should sit down, keep moving, or what. His answers were similarly unfocused at times, terribly repetitive at others.

The Kansas City Star put together a summary of what some political pundits had to say about the debate. One thing is clear: I'm glad McCain's request for 10 town hall meetings wasn't granted.
