The first big deal of the day has Coyotes center Olli Jokinen headed to Calgary in exchange for Matthew Lombardi, prospect Brandon Prust, and a first round pick.
Olli Jokinen to Flames
Finally Jokinen gets moved to a team that won't rely primarily on him for offense and the Flames finally have a legitimate scoring threat from somewhere other than the wings.. Jokinen is a big guy that loves to shoot the puck and in most years scores a lot of goals. This move will make the Flames an even tougher team to play against in the playoffs and it gives a slumping Jokinen a boost in the arm. He looked lost in the desert this year and never really seemed to work well with his wingers. Jokinen has been a sleeping fantasy giant and this move should wake him up and light a fire under his butt (no pun intended).

Matthew Lombardi to Coyotes
Lombardi spent some time on the Flames top line and looked like he belonged there, but with Keenan changing lines every game, he kind of got lost in the shuffle and now finds himself on the Coyotes. Lombardi should get a lot more ice time in Phoenix and we'll get a chance to really see what he can do, but his value takes a big hit now that he won't be a line with Iginla and Cammalleri.
