Oakland Raiders vs San Diego Chargers

Raiders:  Many weeks ago, this looked like a slam dunk for the Chargers and would have people scratching their heads as to why this game is being "nationally" televised.  With the collapse of the Chargers defense and the re-emergence of the Raiders running game, this looks to be a good one.  The two headed rushing monster of Darren McFadden and Justin Fargas should have a nice game against the Chargers struggling run defense.  JaMarcus Russel may actually have a decent game as well, as the Chargers are giving up 260 per game through the air.

Chargers:  They're still mathematically in it, but the best they can do is 8-8.  Philip Rivers has taken his game to another level as he leads the AFC in TD passes, but LT has taken his game to another level as well.  A very scary, ugly level.  It's said that RBs hit a wall when they turn 30.  Apparently, LT hit his wall a little early.  He's failed to reach 100 yards in his last 4 games, 3 of those games were against some of the worst run defenses in the league.  Never fear though, the Raiders are here.  Tomlinson has always done well against the Silver and Black.  In fact, enjoyed his best game of the year against these same Raiders back in Week 4 (106 yards and 2 TDs).  If he can't do well against a team that he's traditionally owned, then I think his days may be done.  Be careful with Rivers in this game, the Raiders have been torturing opposing QBs the past few weeks.  You may want to take a hard look at your QB situation before deploying him.

Fantasy Factors:  Justin Fargas (8), LaDainian Tomlinson (9)

Hey Hungarian,

Yeah, I had a very injury plagued season, but once Thomas Jones got rolling and Tony Romo came back I snuck into the playoffs.

Stick with Eli.  Quarterbacks that have good running games, typically don't pass (or need to pass) against the Lions.  Stick with what you have at RB.  I would go with Gonzalez over Jones for your WRs.  I think Peyton will have a monster game and Gonzalez could benefit.  Under no circumstances should you put in Vernon Davis.  He is a lost cause at this point.

Good luck in your playoff matchup!
