It's been a long time - 12-01-09

The Penguins broke a pretty impressive (or unimpressive, depending on your point of view) regular season losing streak at Madison Square Garden last night. Their 5-2 win was their first at "The World's Most Famous Arena" since March 1, 2007. Considering the Rangers are an Atlantic Division opponent, that's incredible to fathom due to the fact that the Penguins have made at least three trips to Broadway every season since that date. You would think they would just get lucky or catch the Rangers on an off night or something.

But that's a long time. So long in fact that based on the date, it was the the sixth longest losing streak the Penguins have at any active NHL venue they visit.

Here are the Penguins' last wins at the NHL's other 29 buildings. This list is in chronological order:

Seconded (the excellent list comment, not the "pingback").  Looks like we'll have to wait for March 18 to see them break the TD Garden streak.  They play at the Wild, Flames, Oilers and Canucks on one road trip in January, so that could alter the list a lot (Hopefully).
