Before we get into this post, let us point out that Penguins broadcaster Bob Grove should get the credit for this list and a big primary assist goes to Penguins communications coordinator Erik Heasley.

Evgeni Malkin's consecutive games streak will come to an end tonight. And with that, his chance at topping a franchise mark comes to an end for the time being at least.
Had Malkin played the next 60 games on the Penguins' schedule, he would've passed up Ron Schock's (above) team record of consecutive games played.
