Penguins goaltender Brent Johnson will get his second start of the season tomorrow against the Panthers. He is 0-1-0 with a 2.05 goals against average and .917 save percentage. His only start of the season was a 3-0 home loss to the Coyotes, Oct. 7.
Johnson is 6-3-0 all-time against the Panters with a 2.42 goal against average, .921 save percentage and one shutout.
EN Says: It makes sense with games on back to back night to start Johnson against Florida. The Panthers are, on paper at least, the lesser opponent this weekend. Start him against Florida and save Marc-Andre Fleury for the division rival Devils.
