Penguins

-Jay McKee is eager to face is former employers, the Blues, tomorrow.

-Jordan Staal and Evgeni Malkin (above, with Dan Bylsma) got the day off yesterday. They were injured making funny faces. We think.

-Are the Penguins using their fourth line more?

-Someone shot a pretty solid video of the Penguins' taking the ice Saturday:

-Someone shot a solid video of the Penguins' in-game video tribute to former player and current Lightning coach Rick Tocchet:

-Try to imagine the "P-G Rulz!" grafitti where it belongs.

-The Staals are brothers. And their dad likes to golf:

-Eric Politowski of Faceoff-Factor spotted some highlights from Saturday's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton-Syracuse game:

-Jordan Parise made 33 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 3-1 road win against the Gwinnett Gladiators.

-Happy 63rd birthday to one of the most popular pre-Lemieux Penguins, Bob "Battleship" Kelly. Kelly, considered by some to be the toughest player in team history, led the 1976-77 Penguins with 115 penalty minutes.

-Happy 75th birthday to former Penguins goaltender Les Binkley. Binkley, who was essentially the first goaltender in team history, is still third on the team's all-time career shutout list. Only Tom Barrasso (22) and Marc-Andre Fleury (15) have more than Binkley (11).

-Happy 59th birthday to former Penguins all-star forward Al McDonough (right). McDonough led the 1972-73 team with 35 goals.

-Happy 51st birthday to former Penguins forward Wayne Babych. Babych, whose only full season with the Penguins came in 1984-85, Mario Lemieux' rookie season, scored 54 points (20 goals, 34 assists) that campaign.

Atlantic Division

-Flyers defenseman Ryan Parent is dealing with a "lower-body" injury.

Northeast Division

-The Bruins made a whole bunch of moves yesterday. First, forward Chuck Kobasew was sent to the Wild forward Craig Weller, the rights to forward prospect Alexander Fallstrom and a second-round pick in 2011. Additionally, forward Milan Lucic was put on long-term injured reserve due to a broken finger. Finally, forwards Brad Marchand and Vladimir Sobotka were recalled from Providence of the AHL.

-The Canadiens recalled defenseman Marc-Andre Bergeron from Hamilton of the AHL and demoted defenseman Shawn Belle to Hamilton.

Southeast Division

-The Thrashers helped open a rink in Elmira, Onatrio named after former Atlanta forward Dan Snyder who was killed in a car crash six years ago.

-The Lightning have reunited forwards Vincent Lecavalier (right) and Martin St. Louis on a line.

Central Division

-Blues defenseman Barrett Jackman is not expected to be in the lineup tomorrow at Mellon Arena due to an ankle sprain.

-"It's not only frustrating for him but for us sometimes when we hear the jeers during the game." - Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews showing support for goaltender Cristobal Huet who has been inconsistent this season.

-The Blackhawks once again demoted forward Jack Skille to Rockford of the AHL. Chicago has demoted and recalled Skille several times the past week due to salary cap concerns. The Blackhawks save $6,000 every day Skille is not on their NHL roster.

-Slowly but surely, Blue Jackets defenseman Mike Commodore is returning from a groin injury.

Northwest Division

-The Avalanche announced it will not be sending rookie forward Matt Duchene (right), the third overall pick in last season's draft, back to his junior team.

-Colorado had gotten off to a fast start despite only getting two points from forward Paul Stastny.

-Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray is taking his ex-wife to court over the custody of their children. Souray apparently doesn't think it's a good idea for them to be around her while she preforms in an adult-themed revue in Las Vegas.

Pacific Division

-The Coyotes demoted forward Kevin Porter to San Antonio of the AHL.

-The Sharks demoted forward Jamie McGinn and defenseman Derek Joslin to Worcester of the AHL.

-The Kings recalled forward Oscar Moller from Manchester of the AHL.

Adams Division

-Today would've been the 101st birthday of former Pittsburgh Hornets forward Art Giroux.
