Something we're going to try to do with some regularity is running the "Picture This" segment on Sundays. It's a slow day and other than just posting the URL's and offering the proper credit, it doesn't take a lot of effort to post these. And we wouldn't mind taking it a tad easy on Sundays. Anyways, here's today's batch from EN readers.
Ron Michalek went to a Flames-Blue Jackets game in Columbus last week and discovered hive of jersey fouls. The numbers are staggering:
-We're not exactly very educated in the ways of Blue Jackets jerseys, but we're not aware of them ever using red numbering and lettering:
Ron did spot this prett sweet Kevin Dineen jersey:
-The Kings were in Columbus last week and Ohio State student Elizabeth Krenzelok went out to the practice rink to check on former Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi:
-Elizabeth also got her a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins DVD autographed by Scuderi who was kind enough to autograph it with his number in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton number, 2:
(Colby Armstrong had previously autographed it.)
-The PensBlog passed this to us on behalf of a reader. A "Zamboni" jersey foul with what we're told is a sideways "8:"
-Lowell Murray spotted a yellow Mike Bullard era Sidney Crosby jersey foul:
-Timothy Kurnocik spotted a couple pretty bad jersey fouls. We don't even need to provide an explanation:
-Timothy sent in this pretty sweet shot of Mellon Arena to somewhat offset those two jersey fouls:
-Jonathan was in Toronto last week. He spotted the pucks from Maxime Talbot's two goals from Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals:
-Evgeni Malkin's name/puck on the Art Ross Trophy:
-Malkin's name on the Conn Smythe Trophy:
