Good luck with the whole G-20 thing, Seth.  Should be an "interesting" few days to be a journalist in the 'burgh.

I still don't think we should be playing our top guys in the preseason. Maybe dress one or two then let them play the PP, but that's it.

Does either of them (Caputi, Tangradi) have a legit shot at making the roster?

I don't think that Bylsma is entirely married to the idea of TK on Geno's wing.  Therefor yeah, I think there's still the possibility of one of them making the team or at least being a odd man in/out on any given night or being the #1 guy to be called up from WBS if needed.

And I think that addresses Shane's issue, too.  Tangradi was on Sid's wing the other day, he's on Malkin's now.  I think he wants to see how they work out with our top playmakers in a playing setting, and that requires ice time...which means "risking" them in preseason play.

I don't think that Caputi or Tangradi have much of a shot of miaking the team out of camp, especially considering the fact that Tangradi is still recovering from his hand injury and he is considered to have the higher upside.  Let them earn a spot at WBS.  That being said, I would not have given Paul Bissonette much of a shot last year.
