I would absolutely vote for a Pens/Wings trilogy.

Also...are we going back in time for the draft, or is it being held in June?  :P

(I won't hold it against you, Seth.  Considering everything that's happened since Friday, we can give some leniency regarding such things.)

In the first interview video with Dupuis, at the end there's a shot of Fleury and Staal pouring champagne into each other's mouths. Also the video of the Penguins at that club shows Staal in it as well. Wonder if any authority figures will kick up a fuss if they saw that, considering he's only 20.

I'm glad Fatty Ted feels that the Pens winning the cup means nothing. Hopefully he will not learn from out success and continues to sign stiffs, who can't even make their game day roster (Nylander 4.9 mil/yr, Theodore 4.5 mil/yr). If Ovie wins MVP of the season, it would be a shame. I'm curious, has there ever been a season scoring leader, playoff scoring leading and playoff MVP to ever lose the Season MVP? Malkin deserves the league MVP.

CBC wins again-those videos are great.  How cute are all the players kids?

"Don Coombs, the mayor of Harbour Grace, says he and Halifax Mayor Peter Kelly ONCE AGAIN bet on which team would skate away with the Cup."

I guess they bet on this last year to. How does a person who lived in NS last year and is currently living in NL not hear about this at all last year and only hear about it this year from a pittsburgh blog? LOL - (thanks for the link to that acticle seth!)

Malkin is the goofiest guy ever. Check out the Kunitz interview (and try not to die laughing when they call him "The Pride of Regina") at about 45 seconds when Malkin tries to spray champaigne all over the place, but doesn't realize you have to hold your thumb over the mouth of the bottle to build up the pressure. He just looks at it with a confused grin. I also remember watching this live on CBC and at one point he stumbled back onto the ice with a bottle. Hilarious!
