In Europe, any big soccer game is shown on big screen TVs all over the town squares. It's not even a question. If it weren't, someone would get hanged.
During last year's finals games in Detroit, NBC sure played up the fact that Penguins fans were packing Mellon Arena to watch the games.
Sure sounded good, didn't it NBC.
