Just an FYI: There only seem to be single tickets available.

The Capitals also sent an e-mail out within the past 30 minutes about ticket packages starting at $225 which includes:

Ticket to Playoff Game

All-You-Can-Eat buffet

Unlimited beer, wine and soda (I'm sure they meant pop)

Washington Mystics season ticket

New Era brand Capitals hat

Capitals rally towel

Probably no Iron City or Primanti's as part of the buffet.

For more information about this deal, call (202) 266-CAPS or email ticketsales@washcaps.com.

Wait...so you get a season ticket to the Mystics as part of a single-game Capitals all-you-can-eat package?  Jeez...how desperate are they to move THOSE tickets?  (The Mystics, mind.)

Don't come here! We do not want you. You do nothing but cause trouble and stain the city.

Guess Pitsburgh money is no good there. Stay home buy locally screw Washington. Lets go Pens.

Ironically enough. Labre played 2 stints with the Pens back in the early 70s. I hope it's a sign

My apologies for over stating the obvious about Labre's career w/the Pens. I just skimed over the post initially and i missed that Seth already mentioned it.

Alright!  I got my two tickets--had to go club level though.

The one day it's nice to be a Pens fan in Maryland.  =]

Wow is that a trash statement. We're sorry you can't handle a bit of competition. I don't know if you know this, but your opponents have fans too, and they aren't the scourge of humanity.

"Don't come here! We do not want you. You do nothing but cause trouble and stain the city."

You think they're confusing the PIT fanbase with the other fanbase in the commonwealth?

(cheap shot ends here)

Should we not be asking how you got the "secret" code word?

I'm from the burgh and now live in Northern VA, The stupid people in DC don't realize that most of the Pens fans who attend the games in DC are actually live in the area (DC, VA, MD). A lot of us work for technology firms or the Government and moved to the area over the past 25 years. I moved here back in 80s, after college. Fat Teddy can never restrict Pens fans, since we live here and have local addresses. Fat Teddy needs to realize he can't keep a good Pens fan down. Same thing happened with the Steeler game here last fall. 40% of the fans were Steelers fans. I realize some came down from the Burgh, but most are local and love the Steelers. Also, a lot of local DC folks love the Pens. Back in the 90s the Pens would beat up on the Caps every playoffs. I think a lot of them were just learning about hockey and decided if you can't beat them, join them. I do believe many hockey fans in the area wanted to cheer for a winner and not a loser. It makes it so much sweeter when the Pittsburgh teams win. Most of the DC fans leave early and the Pens fans take over. Just watch this weekend. If the Pens go up a few goals, the Caps fans will leave and the crowd will become almost all Pens fans. The calibration in the streets of DC China town will be fun.

Brando,

A long-time reliable EN reader supplied me with the information.

LGC, if you want to slam a city you seem fairly ignorant about, please do so without vulgarity. Thank you.

So it's fine to call the owner of the Caps fat, and all the people in DC stupid, as long as you're nice about it (or a Pens fan). Yeah, okay. I cannot help it if BigBill self-deficated by calling residents of the DC area stupid, when he is in fact one himself. Nor do I know what the heck he's going to be calibrating in China town. Well, I sure hope all of you nice Pens fans have fun calibrating your stuff. See yinz there!

PS: Seth, I hope Fat Teddy revokes your press pass.

LGC, You can say just about anything you want on here as long as it's not vulgar. You were the first to use vulgarity so I deleted your comment. Other than that, I had no problem with what you stated. Simple as that.

LGC, I agree Pittsburgh is trash. It doesn't mean we can't come to DC and spend our welfare checks on tickets.

And no ONE and I mean NO ONE revokes Seth's press pass!
