Everyone keeps talking about that "No shot for Malkin & Crosby" stat, but what about the shot Crosby had that Biron made a ridic save on?  Even Doc yelled "He scooooooores", so it was definitely on net.

I was going to ask the same thing as NoBobsAllowed.  Can anyone clarify this?

It was in period 2 during a 4 -on- 4 where Crosby only had to lift the puck a couple more inched to get the puck past Biron.

Biron made the save or else it would have been a goal.

That is a shot on net for sure!

JR really seems to have a thing for Sid, doesn't he?  Kinda weird.

I don't know why it matters if Sid's boring or not.

Good question on the Crosby non-shot. I wonder if Biron poked it as Crosby shot it and that technically was considered a non-shot.

Either way, Crosby nearly had a goal there.

I DVRed the game and checked Crosby's shot on goal.

It definitely was a shot on goal!  No poke-check by Biron.

Biron had to get his blocker down, extending his arm to block it, and Crosby almost got it over his blocker.
