According to the Penguins' Web site, team captain Sidney Crosby (above) will return to the lineup tonight in Florida. The team has gone 5-0-0 without him in the lineup in the lineup this season. He has 79 points (23 goals, 56 assists) in 60 games.
EN Says: Why not bench him until they lose a game?
This is arguably the Penguins' biggest game of the season until this point. This is a team they're fightning for a playoff spot with. It's a "four-point" game if you believe in cliches. SIdney Crosby is a big addition to a hot team.
And yes, our Winter Classic photo fetish strikes again.
NOTE:
-So much for all that chemistry Chris Kunitz seemed to have with Jordan Staal and Tyler Kennedy. Crosby skated on a line in practice today with Kunitz and Bill Guerin.
-Florida forward David Booth will be a game-time decision due to a rib injury.
-Panthers defenseman Nick Boynton, who just served a three-game suspension, will be scratched in favor of newly-acquired blue liner Steve Eminger.
