-The Senators are rolling after promoting their AHL coach. Alex Auld made 24 saves and led Ottawa to a 2-0 shutout win at Nashville. Ottawa has won five consecutive games and is 5-1-1 since Cory Clouston took over as coach.
-Are the Senators starting to win games at the wrong time?
-Ottawa forward and former Penguin Jarkko Ruutu was fined by the NHL for grabbing Wild forward Cal Clutterbuck's head from the bench Saturday.

-Ottawa forward Mike Fisher is living the good life.
-The Maple Leafs recalled goaltender Justin Pogge from their AHL affiliate.
-Toronto overlord Brian Burke said he'd like to hang on to defenseman Tomas Kaberle (right).
Southeast Division
-The Thrashers love L.A. Shootout goals by Slava Kozlov and former Penguin Erik Christensen gave the Thrashers a 7-6 win at Los Angeles. Fire Ray Shero. Ilya Kovalchuk had a two goals and an assist for the Thrashers while teammates Bryan Little and Todd White each added a goal and assist. Atlanta has scored a combined 15 goals in their two games against the Kings and their cross-town rivals, the Ducks. Anze Kopitar led the Kings with two goals and two assists.
-Carolina forward Justin Williams just can't catch a break. At least a good one. He will be out a least a month due to a fractured bone in his hand. He missed a good portion of last season and this season due to a knee and Achilles tendon injury.
-The Hurricanes recalled forward Michael Ryan from Albany of the AHL.
-How did dealing defenseman Mathieu Schneider to the Canadiens benefit the Thrashers?
