Central Division
-Andrew Ladd recorded a goal and two assists for the Blackhawks in a 5-2 win at Calgary. Dave Bolland had a goal and two assists for Chicago while teammate Matt Walker had three assists.

-Kind of Useless Stat of the Day: The Blackhawks are now 11-0 against Canadian teams this season.
-Jason Arnott had a goal and an assist for the Predators in a 4-2 defeat of the Ducks. Teammate Dan Hamius added two assists. Corey Perry scored both of Anaheim's goals.
-The Blues recalled forward Trent Whitfield from Peoria of the AHL.
-Red Wings general manager Ken Holland pretty much acknowledged what everyone else in hockey knows; goaltender Chris Osgood stinks.
-Chicago forward Patrick Kane (right) is still hampered by ankle injury.
Northwest Division
-Milan Hejduk had a goal and an assist for the Avalanche in a 3-2 win against the Stars. Matt Niskanen led Dallas with two assists.
-Hejduk reached the 20-goal mark for the ninth consecutive season.
-Shootout goals by Sam Gagner and Robert Nilsson gave the Oilers a 2-1 win at St. Louis. Goaltender Dwayne Roloson made 33 saves in the win.
-Gagner's winning goal:
-The Oilers put defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky on injured reserve due to a right shoulder injury.
-Wild forward Owen Nolan is dealing with an "upper-body" injury.
-Former Avalanche forward Peter Forsberg was unimpressive in his debut with Modo of the Swedish League.
Pacific Division
-Anze Kopitar had two goals and an assist for the Kings in a 5-4 win at Washington.
Teammates Dustin Brown, Alexander Frolov and Jarret Stoll each added
two assist. Mike Green and Brooks Laich each had a goal and an assist
for Washington. Alex Ovechkin scored his 200th career goal.
-Stars forward Sean Avery is close to meeting the requirments of his anger management therapy.
-Sharks forward Joe Thornton is ready to return to Boston for the first time since the 2005 trade that sent him to San Jose.
