-Oilers defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky is dealing with a shoulder injury.
-Wild forward Marian Gaborik is ahead of schedule in rehabbing his injured hip.

Pacific Division
-The Ducks dealt defenseman Nathan McIver to the Canucks in exchange for forward Mike Brown. McIver, who began the season in Vancouver, was demoted to Manitoba of the AHL following the deal.
-The Coyotes recalled forwards Kevin Porter and Jeff Hoggan from San
Antonio of the AHL and demoted forwards Steve Goertzen and Alexander
Nikulin. Additionally, forward Viktor Tikhonov was activated from
injured reserve and demoted to San Antonio.
-Gary Bettman called rumors of the Coyotes' impending demise ridiculous.
