Atlantic Division
-The Rangers recalled forward Artem Anisimov from Hartford of the AHL.
-Whenever he returns, Martin Brodeur is the Devils No. 1 everday goaltender right?
-Leave it to a columnist from a Philadelphia paper to get upset over NHL officials actually calling penalties.
Northeast Division
-Tim Thomas made 27 saves and led the Bruins to a 3-1 win at Montreal. Montreal, which plays the Penguins tomorrow, lost former Penguins forward Robert Lang in the third period due to an Achilles tendon injury. He scored the Habs' only goal. Montreal forward Guillaume Latendresse to an apparent shoulder injury.
-Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette suggested Lang's season, or even his career, could be finished due to the injury.
-Check out the crazy throwback uniforms Lang (below, with Alex Kovalev) and the Canadiens wore yesterday:

-Montreal recalled defenseman Alex Henry from Hamilton of the AHL.
-For some reason, we suspect Bruins announcer Jack Edwards isn't a big fan of Henry:

-Brayden Schenn, the younger brother of Maple Leafs rookie Luke Schenn, could be a top ten pick this offseason.
Southeast Division

-Alex Ovechkin's seventh career hat trick led the Capitals to a 7-4 rout of the Senators. Teammate Mike Green added a goal and three assists while Nicklas Backstrom had a goal and two assists. Daniel Alfredsson led Ottawa with two goals.
-Because Washington had seven goals, Capitals fans can get a Papa John's pizza with 14 toppings on them for just $9.99. Are there even 14 toppings for pizza? Are there even 14 Capitals fans?
-Stop us if this sounds familiar. Panthers coach Pete DeBoer said his team was "too fancy" in a recent loss.
-Former Penguins forward Mark Recchi has a been a pleasant surprise for the Lightning. Fire Ray Shero.
