It's at least five weeks too late for Republicans, but here is the ad the McCain camp prepared on Obama's ties to the Rev. Jeremiah "God damn America" Wright, which the Arizona senator would not allow on air. It uses footage of McCain as a P.O.W., followed by shots of Wright's oft-aired sermons, with chilling music in the background. "Character matters, especially when no one's looking," the voice-over says.
