A John Nemeth interview

Here's a nice interview in the San Jose Mercury News with soul-blues singer and harpman John Nemeth, who's just released "Love Me Tonight," his second and very fine Blind Pig album.

If it seems like I mention him a lot, it's because I think he's a major new blues talent, who deserves a serious listen from anyone who enjoys good old-fashioned soul and blues. He's an excellent harp player, and puts on an exciting live show.

A very long comment and now a very short comment.

Wait until you see Eli 'Paperboy' Reed and the True Loves.  It sends a chill up my spine just typing the words!! I've seen them in person and can unreservedly and without hesitation proclaim them to be the second coming of Wilson Pickett and The Falcons. The best new band I've seen since the late, lamented Nic Curran and the Nite Lifes. Unbelievable!!!
